Hiya Sunshine.
I’m sitting here at my desk with my second latte of the day, listing to pop vocal album of the year Midnights on vinyl, writing to you, thinking:
January was a long year, am I right?
For Q1, I’ve been head down, focused primarily on client relationship building and mapping out the many, many projects I have on the go…wondering what we’re going to have for dinner.
*cuts to me ordering pizza.
Anywho, other than my grocery list take out menus, my mental energy has been fully expended thinking about what it means to be a “good, enough leader.”
In that vein, I am:
- thiiiiiiis close to earning Top Voice in both emotional intelligence and leadership development on LinkedIn
- finalizing the curriculum for a training program I’m developing for HR, sales, and finance professionals
- prepping to moderate two panels at the HRD Canada Wellbeing Summit, on both wellbeing programming strategies, and empowering employees through mental wellbeing
- gearing up to speak alongside Joanna Griffiths – founder and President of Knix – at the Becoming Her conference on International Women’s Day
I wanted to send you over each of these things that I’m working on behind the scenes – because I have a hunch that you might be as interested in them as much as I am.
And also, my dear?
Just for fun, I decided to share the Masterclass I created on the 7 Pillars of Becoming a Good, Enough Leader.
This is the foundation of the third book I am working on (whoops – did I say that out loud??), and in its 23 minutes packs a meaningful punch for levelling up your leadership skills by getting out of your own way.
I think you’ll love it; it’s an in-depth checklist of not only what I teach leaders and team who wants RESULTS, but of what I personally use to keep myself centred at each iteration of my own leadership.
It’s just the push I need to stay confident and results focused, and I hope it motivates you, too.
Alright…happy clicking!
Remember to hit REPLY and let me know what you think.
Warmly and with thanks,
Leisse
